We are seeking an experienced Mammography Technologist to join our incredible team at our Dawsonville location. We currently have 15 locations that provide state-of-the-art 2D / 3D diagnostic medical imaging services specializing in 3D mammography & breast ultrasound, bone densitometry & general ultrasound. The ideal candidate must be well versed in all aspects of clinical breast imaging and patient care. Must be warm, compassionate, caring and possess an outwardly positive attitude. Candidate must be ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist with Mammography certification.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operates computer and mammography equipment for image production and documentation.
- Documents patient assessment and history.
- Provides patient with compassionate care and breast 'education'.
- Practices accurate and timely completion of scheduled and unscheduled work to maximize productivity.
- Performs quality control measures for the purpose of ensuring optimal images.
- Enters and properly completes all risk and history information into the Radiology Information System (RIS).
- Set's exam status accordingly, for interpretation by the radiologist in an accurate and timely manner.
- Exhibits flexibility and adaptability to unique needs of the department and respond appropriately.
- Communicate abnormal situations to proper sources in a way that facilitates resolution and/or tracking.
- Actively engages other health care providers (radiologist, surgeons, specialist, sonographers) to ensure quality, continuity, and appropriateness of care.
- Follows department procedures/processes/policies.
- Practices safety measures in radiography by adhering to all governing regulations.
- Follows universal precautions, infection control guidelines and sterile technique.
- Maintains exam room and work area.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice.
COMPENSATION:
- Hourly compensation commensurate with experience. Negotiable.
